Amazing Mexican food in Riverside. A hidden gem off Tyler near the mall. The food is authentic and the homemade tortillas while you wait for your food is amazing! The service is on point and staff is friendly. The place is always packed no matter the time. This place has a local following. If you are in the IE. You need to check this place out.
Excellent all the way around! Great food, great service! We enjoyed our Santa Fe salads tremendously! Fresh lettuce, pasta, grilled chicken, chunks of cantaloupe, pecans, bacon, and cheese! Topped it off with a delicious dressing. And huge portions to boot! Our server was Brenn, and she was fantastic. Friendly and super fast with drinks, homemade chips and salsa, and those incredible tortillas! Fresh, warm, and seriously good! I highly recommend Anchos, this restaurant is a Riverside gem!
This place is highly underrated. The tortillas are fresh! The food is great! I like the butterfly shrimp and steak. 10/10 every time. Great service every time as well. 10/10 Very busy place because it's so good.
Were really enjoyed our visit to Anchos. The portion sizes were very generous, and all the flavors were outstanding! The exterior is simple, but the interior is really colorful and pleasant. Service throughout our visit was on point; we ordered everything a la carte so we could try a lot of different dishes. Tip: If you're a fan of chips and salsa, the ones they serve here will make you VERY happy :-) The meat in the steak taco was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and done to just the right level of medium-rare for my taste. The sauce on the chicken was really flavorful, and the seafood enchiladas were wonderful; they also brought complimentary warm tortillas that totally hit the spot. If you're craving food from South of the Border, this is a great place to visit!
This is THE best restaurant in Riverside! I crave this place all the time. My favorite are the steak fajitas and the tacos. I also love the chips and salsa from here! It's so good. The fresh flour tortillas is what makes this place stand out for me. It's so delicious and I always look forward to eating some whenever I'm here! The service is always so great. The people who work here are truly so nice and have such a great attitude. You can tell that this place really cares about their customers and the quality of their food. I highly recommend this place!
Anchos is a delicious southwest restaurant and bar, with good service and OK ambience. Access is pretty easy and there's plenty of parking nearby. We went during lunch time, around 1 pm , and we got seated immediately. Food was awesome!! We had Steak tacos al carbon and seafood enchiladas, both delicious and good amount; with authentic beans, rice and tortillas & butter. All delicious. Considering the current inflation i think their price is ok, all things considered. Great place, highly recommended!!!
We come here for the freshly made tortillas and eat them with butter! That's all. Tortillas and butter. lol trust me... it's the best! If you want some protein the fajitas and tacos are good too.
